In the video, Brent finds himself battling with the cost of being a celebrity as it affects the relationships he has with women and himself. “Price Of Fame” was previously part of a three-pack Brent sent to select fans before it was officially released.
The Maryland native's last project was his 2020 LP F--- The World. Following his 2020 album, the R&B crooner dropped “Wasting Time” featuring Drake, “Gravity” with Tyler, The Creator, “Mercedes,” “Show U Off,” and “Dead Man Walking.” He has also since been featured on Tems’ “Found” from her 2021 EP If Orange Was A Place, Meek Mill’s “Halo” off of Expensive Pain, and “Lost Souls” from Baby Keem’s The Melodic Blue.
Wasteland is out July 8.

Brent Faiyaz has dropped some new music but it is not quite what fans were hoping for.
The R&B crooner has released his new single "Mercedes," a couple of months after the release of his Drake-assisted single "Wasting Time."
For a while, there were were rumors that the Maryland native was set to release a new album this Friday (Dec. 3) but instead released "Mercedes" produced by himself and Sonder bandmate Atu.
