It’s Draft Day Detroit!
Detroit Lions fans, today is the day the team will draft about six-eight guys over the next three days that can change the franchise around and get us to the super bowl…well maybe not the super bowl, but you get the idea the Detroit Lions have the number two pick in this years draft and fans are speculating on who they will pick. Many believe the Lions will pick the hometown hero Aidan Hutchinson from the University of Michigan. Other believe it may be Travon Walker from the University of Georgia. Obviously an edge rusher may be taken with the first two picks seeing as how both the Jaguars and Lions ranked in the bottom of the league last year in sacks. They will definitely be looking to improve that this season. The Lions also have the 32nd Pick in the first round and the 34th pick in the second round which many believe may be used to bolster our offense. Perhaps they may draft a quarterback or another wide out to really get Head Coach Dan Campbells offense going.

Since his team has plenty of holes to fill on both sides of the ball, General Manager Brad Holmes can pretty much stick with the best player available this year. Holmes is coming off a successful draft class last year that included Penei Sewell, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Ifeatu Melifonwu, and a few other solid players. Fans are looking forward to seeing what he does for an encore.
