The newly released footage from DaBaby's 2018 Walmart altercation where he shot and killed 19-year-old Jaylin Craig has cast doubt on his self-defense claim. DaBaby has always alleged that Craig attempted to rob him in a Huntersville, North Carolina Walmart. But a new Rolling Stone report, which includes the footage of the fight has left fans divided. Now, DaBaby has responded to the video for the first time publicly. The newly released footage seems to show that DaBaby instigated the fight that turned deadly, throwing the first punch.

“Why are people acting like the 2018 video of Da Baby’s Walmart incident wasn’t already seen by Walmart, The Police, and the courts?,” a Twitter user wrote.

DaBaby responded to the tweet: “Cuz the media got they a-- brainwashed.”
