Weekdays 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

For the most part, Mother Nature has giving us a pretty mild winter wouldn’t you say? Well that all could be changing Wednesday. This is going to be our first major winter storm, and it’s going to be a real storm. A winter storm watch has already been issued by the National Weather Service. According to Fox 2 Detroit, prior to the large winter storm, temperatures will rise to about 40 degrees on Tuesday. At around 11 p.m., the rain will transform into a wintry mix of rain/sleet/snow. Then on Wednesday, as the air mass changes, colder air will filter down through the atmosphere by 4 a.m. Wednesday is said to be the day when most of the snow will pile up. The storm is expected to go until late Thursday evening where there could potentially be about 6-7 inches of snow accumulated on the ground. Detroit, please get yourself prepared for our first heavy storm of 2022.
