Dr. Chadi Alraies believes in patient-focused care and works to treat each patient like he would want his own family to be treated. With his extensive knowledge and research of adult cardiology and interventional cardiology procedures, he is confident in his clinical skill set to provide the best and most effective therapies for patients with heart disease.
BACKGROUND:
Dr. Alraies earned his medical degree from Aleppo University, Aleppo Syria. After completing an internal medicine residency at St. Vincent Medical Center/ Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, he spent the next five years as a staff physician at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio. During that time, he served as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Learner College of Medicine, where he was involved in teaching and clinical research. Dr. Alraies completed his cardiovascular fellowship training at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, where he also received a Master’s of Public Health from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. Dr. Alraies completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at the Wayne State University / Detroit Medical Center and stayed.
Dr. Alraies has published numerous articles and abstracts in professional, scientific journals, including the Circulation, Journal of American College of Cardiology, American Heart Journal, American Medical Journal, European Heart Journal, Catheterization, and Cardiovascular Interventions and American Journal of Cardiology. His publications focus on topics related to coronary artery disease outcome, coronary interventions, highrisk coronary interventions, cardiogenic shock, and structural heart interventions. He has also written several chapters in medical textbooks related to coronary artery disease interventional and vascular access.
