Update on I-75 Near Troy: 1 Lane Reopened, Others Closed for Weeks
If you’re a regular on I-75 near Troy, note that the right lane of the northbound portion of the freeway has reopened at the Big Beaver exit.
The center and left lanes going both directions will remain closed as crews repair damage from a recent truck fire.
The truck fire and crash happened Monday (July 13), and the freeway had been closed ever since.
Crews are working to rebuild the center and left lanes each way, plus the concrete median wall, according to MDOT spokesman Rob Morosi.
