Tonight (June 8) is the night. For the first time since 2019, the Tigers will play at Comerica Park without any capacity restrictions.
For the first part of 2021, space was limited to 8,000 fans per game. The crowd could hit 40,000 or more tonight.
Also starting tonight, unvaccinated attendees can score two free tickets to the game, or a future game, if they get vaccinated that day, as well as a $10 Meijer gift card. The pop-up vaccine clinic will be held at the Fox Theatre and give shots three hours before the start of each game this week.
Michigan lifted outdoor capacity restrictions for events and businesses on June 1. Tigers’ last home game was on May 30, so this is the first chance to take advantage of the new guidelines.
Tonight’s game starts at 7:10 p.m.
