Russ & Kehlani Collaborate On ‘Take you Back’
Russ and Kehlani collaborated on the Atlanta singer’s new single “Take You Back,” where the two sing about attempting to repair a broken relationship.
The guitar-driven duet sees a remorseful Russ pleading with Kehlani to take him back. However, Kehlani has some reservations.
“Take you back, why should I take you back? / When you wanna f— this up,” Kehlani sings on the song. “I love you but I don’t love riding this ride / You know it ain’t right.”
Russ took to Instagram and dubbed the duet his “favorite.” “This is really years in the making..one of my favorite songs ever is officially out!!!” Russ told fans.
As we previously reported, Kehlani also recently appears alongside Syd on “Birthday” off Disclosure’s new album Energy.
