Yesterday, R&B singer Tamar Braxton won Celebrity Big Brother, garnering herself $250,000, and making the star the first African-American to win the series.
The “Blind” singer shared a video of her being announced as the winner of Celebrity Big Brother on her Instagram account. Wearing a royal blue jumpsuit with a flower crown on her head, she gasped in awe and ran out on stage with her cast-mate Ricky. The two were showered with gold confetti before the singer ran to embrace her son Logan, who ran on stage to give his mother a hug.
Prior to sharing the video of her win being announced, she shared a photo of her and her sisters Toni Braxton, Traci Braxton, Trina Braxton, and Towanda Braxton on Instagram. “I want to say thank you to my wonderful beautiful sisters for holding me down,” she shared in a caption.”I really appreciate all of the help everyone has been while I have been gone. I can’t wait to see you all tonight!”
The singer also posted a slew of support messages on her Instagram story that people shared on the social media platform.
Watch her first post-game interview below where talks about how it feels to win with a unanimous vote. She also shares that if she could have one of her sisters with her on the series she would choose Towanda.
